Suzanne Florek, Founder A Chicago chef trained at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and a graduate of the Indiana University Business School, Suzanne knows food – and the business of food. She has years of experience running fine dining restaurants and has enjoyed a freelance career in New Product Development. Suzanne also has three teenage (and always hungry) boys and an encouraging husband – all of whom provided inspiration and support for the creation of Salty Fig. Her philosophy: keep your life in the right balance with food, friends and family.
