#1To rim a glass…pour a little of the syrup on a shallow plate. Pour the sugar on another plate. Roll the outside rim of the glass in the syrup. Be careful to only moisten about ¼ inch. Then roll the outside of the glass in the sugar. Do this first & let it dry while making your cocktail.
#2 If you prefer vodka, feel free to use it instead of gin. It will make a mellower cocktail, but it still is delicious & festive.

2 oz gin
1 oz Jo Snow Peppermint Twist syrup
1 oz heavy cream

Shake with ice.
Strain into a cocktail glass rimmed with colored sugar or crushed candy canes.
Garnish with a mint sprig, if you like.
