1 lb top-sirloin steak
2tsp coconut oil
2 tbsp Dijon-style mustard
2 tsp grated horseradish (or prepared horseradish sauce)
2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp ground celery seed
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp coarse salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Take steak out of refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking. Preheat oven to broil. Set over rack 6 inches from broiler unit.
Rub both sides of steak with coconut oil. Combine mustard and horseradish, and spread evenly on both sides of steak. Place steak on lightly greased broiler pan.
In small cup, mix thyme, celery seed, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Divid mixture, sprinkling half on each side of meat.
Broil steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove steak to serving platter; let rest 1 minute. Slice and serve.
