Salty Fig’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

The quality of chocolate chip you use is really important to the experience of an awesome chocolate chip cookie. If I'm in the mood to splurge I'll use Callebaut dark Callets from Amazon. If it is just a regular Saturday and the cookie jar needs filled I stock up on Trader Joe's semi sweet chocolate chips. One other note is you are lucky enough to own a kitchen aid mixer you can double the recipe, these cookies fly out of the kitchen with a houseful!
